Who Are Baxi Packaged Solutions

BPS creates bespoke designs to meet client requirements and programmes. The designs maximise system efficiencies and comply with industry regulations. Through our network of leading supply partners, we source plant equipment specific to client requirements, fabricate modular solutions tailored to client needs, and provide full delivery if required, along with a complete integration service. BPS also offers in-house fabrication facilities and the ability to deliver pipework and steelwork requirements, utilising our state-of-the-art CAD design service.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the 3D Designer will provide mechanical design input for the Operational & Commercial teams. Producing mechanical schematics and layouts to meet customer system specifications and additional schematics and assembly drawings to ISO standards for manufacturing and operational requirements. You will have the opportunity to support ongoing improvements to labour and materials efficiencies across the PPS portfolio and assist the manufacturing team with BOM and design-related issues to meet project build schedules.

3D Design Engineer Will Offer

• Design input supporting future enquiries and tenders.
• Produce schematic/assembly drawings within AutoCAD 2D/3D.
• Compile and structure BOMs to support procurement activities.
• Ensure system design & drawings adhere to customer URS (User Requirement Specifications).
• Provide feedback and rectify engineering drawings & BOM errors.
• Attend production and design meetings as required.
• Liaise with internal project managers and manufacturing departments.
• Assist with meetings and communications with clients, designers, and consultants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required

• Engineering/Design degree preferred.
• HVAC, M&E design experience.
• Mechanical & piping CAD knowledge.
• Proven track record in designing multi-functional heating systems.
• 3D CAD software experience is essential.
• Background in building services and mechanical engineering, including structural drawings.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
