Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are looking to recruit a 3D CAD Co-ordinator (Smartplant S3D) on a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Purpose of the Role

Under broad direction, oversee and perform activities related to 3D CAD coordination, management, and system administration.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for creating and implementing CAD Management policies, plans, specifications, and procedures, including naming conventions, hierarchy conventions, attributes/data content, and ensuring compliance.
• Develop 3D model hierarchy and naming conventions to align with project requirements.
• Create 3D CAD execution plans.
• Develop detailed work instructions and job notes.
• Ensure the success of CAD Management activities and deliverables according to schedules, focusing on project goals.
• Establish, maintain, and improve CAD Management processes, systems, and tools for efficiency.
• Communicate regularly with multi-office CAD teams through coordination meetings and briefing sessions to share knowledge and best practices.
• Support and ensure correct deployment and utilization of CAD Management systems.
• Develop discipline-specific 2D deliverables from PDMS Draft or E3D Draw.
• Generate regular project review models.
• Incorporate supplier 3D models for space reservation and clash detection.
• Create project visualization images using Navisworks.
• Manage software issues and report to KBR Service Desk.
• Support software upgrades and troubleshoot PDMS applications.
• Interface with IM Data Management for 3D model progress measurement and data flow coordination.
• Support 3D model object engineering and status reporting.
• Manage clash detection and reporting.
