About This RoleWe are looking to expand the Art and Technology faculty to broaden our curriculum offer and are seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic catering, 3D art specialist or design technology teacher. The successful candidate will have specialisms in at least one of these areas and a willingness to develop expertise in others. You will teach all abilities across KS3 and KS4. KS3 students engage in textiles, art, food, 3D design, and graphics. At KS4, we offer design technology, catering, textiles, art, photography, and computing.
The successful applicant will join a dedicated and collaborative department committed to producing high-quality work, achieving high academic standards, and contributing to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the academy.
The Technology department is a thriving and stimulating area equipped with modern IT and 3D CAD packages, a dedicated IT room, workshops, a laser cutter, 3D printer, fully equipped catering room, and art and textiles rooms. All teaching staff are expected to inspire, enthuse, and engage students to produce their best work and achieve high standards.
We offer an excellent induction for ECTs and promote continuous professional development. We welcome applications from those eager to develop their experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Ormiston Six Villages Academy provides a safe, positive environment for students to learn and develop into confident young adults.
