A Healthcare Provider in Barnsley is seeking a Care Support Worker to join their multidisciplinary team. This permanent position requires delivering compassionate care under the guidance of registered nurses and therapists. Candidates should have experience in care and a willingness to undertake necessary training. A commitment to high-quality service and the ability to work flexible shifts in a 7-day, 24-hour service is expected.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit CareSupport Workers work with our existing multidisciplinary team on a permanentbasis.
The service focuses on a short-term assessment periodwith intensive therapy input for people requiring extra support andrehabilitation to return to their place of normal residence. The Acorn IntermediateCare Unit provides this care for both Hospital and at times, community services.
The post holder will work aspart of the multidisciplinary team delivering a range of designatedtasks/duties of a clinical and non- clinical nature including personalcompassionate care to patients, working within agreed policy and procedures.
As part of this post you will be expected to be flexiblein your working pattern to cover a 7 day 24 hour service.
As a care support worker, you will be workingclosely with registered nurses and therapists and supporting your Manager toensuring that our patients needs are met through the delivery of high-qualitycare.
The post holder will workwithin Trust policy, procedures and the standards of the Care Certificate; a framework providing thepost holder with the introduction, skills, knowledge and competence to deliverpersonal compassionate care to the highest standard.
