Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant – Insurance/Risk/Actuary

Tandem Search is seeking experienced Senior and Principal Recruitment Consultants with expertise in Insurance, Risk, and Actuarial sectors. If you are a high-performing 360 recruiter with a proven track record in business development, client management, and talent acquisition, we would love to connect with you.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing, well-established recruitment firm. You will have the autonomy to develop and grow your own desk while benefiting from the support of an established brand. You’ll play a key role in working with top-tier clients in the Insurance, Risk, and Actuarial sectors, including a high-profile global client, and will be instrumental in expanding Tandem Search’s footprint across the Southeast Asia region.

As a specialist recruiter, you will be responsible for driving new business, managing key client relationships, and executing senior-level placements within top-tier financial institutions, investment banks, and professional services firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development – Proactively identify and win new client relationships within Banking, Financial Services, and Professional Services.
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers in global consulting and financial institutions.
  • Talent Acquisition & Delivery – Source, assess, and place top-tier professionals in front-office, risk, compliance, finance, and strategy roles.
  • Market Mapping & Advisory – Provide expert market insights and recruitment strategies to clients across Southeast Asia.
  • End-to-End 360 Recruitment – Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from business development and candidate sourcing to placement and aftercare.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of recruitment experience within Insurance, Risk, or Actuarial sectors, with a proven track record of delivering senior-level placements.
  • Strong 360 recruitment experience, particularly in business development and client management.
  • Established network and relationships with key decision-makers within the financial services, insurance, or actuarial consulting sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage complex recruitment projects and meet/exceed targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of hiring trends, regulatory changes, and talent movement within the Insurance and Risk consulting markets.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior-level clients.
  • Specialist Focus – Work within a firm that specializes in high-value placements within Insurance, Risk, and Actuarial sectors.
