Job Description
  1. The consultant role is to proactively initiate and develop commercial relationships with local customers to generate revenue by providing consultative advice, selling PageGroup solutions, and effectively managing the recruitment process.
  2. The consultant becomes a trusted advisor to our customers.
  3. Builds and grows a client portfolio by using commercial information to identify organisations with current or future recruitment needs, including global multinationals and SMEs.
  4. Develops a client contact strategy and conducts business development calls.
  5. Organises meetings and attends pitches with prospective clients.
  6. Maintains and develops existing client relationships to secure repeat and exclusive business.
  7. Consults and engages with clients to understand their needs and sells the most appropriate solutions for attracting the right candidates.
  8. Manages the entire recruitment process from presenting and selling suitable candidates through the interview to offer stages.
  9. Provides post-placement support and contact; seeks feedback and secures testimonials.
  10. Exchanges relevant client information with other disciplines or regions to cross-sell.
  11. Networks within industry sectors to become an expert in their market.
  12. Engages with candidates by identifying and attracting potential candidates using sourcing tools, including social media, networking, referrals, and advertising.
  13. Maintains an accurate candidate database, meeting all legislative and compliance requirements.
The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this recruitment role, you must:

  • Have some sales experience or a desire to work in recruitment.
  • Have fantastic communication skills.
  • Be able to consult with potential clients and candidates.
  • Bring the will, and we will teach the skill.
