Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in York is seeking an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for a major project starting next week. This long-term contract offers steady, continuous work on-site in York, with 40–45+ hours per week and CIS pay.

You will be responsible for safe operation, bulk excavation, drainage, foundations and levelling, working with groundworkers and site managers, while performing daily inspections and routine maintenance. Valid CPCS/NPORS and UK right-to-work are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification: valid CPCS or NPORS card (360 Above/Below 10 Tonnes).
• Minimum 2–3+ years of proven experience operating a 360 excavator on commercial or civil projects.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of 360 excavators on-site.
• Carrying out bulk excavation, deep drainage, foundations, and site levelling.
• Working closely with groundworkers and site managers according to site plans.
• Conducting daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance on the machine.
• Adhering strictly to site health and safety protocols.
