Job summary

ITS Building People is seeking a 360 Excavator Operator for a sea defence project in Margate, Kent. Immediate start with a Monday–Friday pattern and potential overtime. Own transport is essential, and the role may lead to additional training or a full-time contract.

Responsibilities include trench digging and working along the promenade. A valid CPCS or NPORS card is desirable; references available on request. This contract runs for 2 weeks with possibility of extension.

• Must be able to leave the cab and assist with groundworks on request.
• Must be able to perform physical manual labour.

Job description:

360 Excavator Operator required for sea defence site. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking 360 Operator to assist our client with a project based in Margate, Kent. Own transport is essential.

This contract is Monday to Friday and there may be the option to do overtime.

Additional training and a full time contract may be provided for the right candidates.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Digging trenches
• Working on the promenade

Requirements for the role

• A valid CPCS or NPORS card is desirable
• References upon request
• Must be able to get out the cab and help with groundworks when requested
• The ability to perform physical manual labour
• Own tools are required
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Training/Progression opportunities:

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

*Rate of Pay

• Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
