Job summary

Search is seeking an experienced 360 Machine Operative to join a busy substation project in Leek. You will operate a 360 excavator safely, perform trenching and grading, assist with drainage and groundwork, and support the site team to maintain safety and programme compliance on a long-term basis.

The role requires a valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket, proven experience on civil engineering/infrastructure sites, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

• Experience operating a 360 excavator on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently.

• Work closely with the site team to complete work safely and to programme.

We are currently looking for an experienced 360 Machine Operative to join a busy substation project in Leek. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable operator looking for long-term work on a well-established site.

The Role:

You will be responsible for operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently, carrying out a range of excavation and groundwork duties to support the ongoing substation project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently
• Excavation, trenching, and grading works
• Assisting with drainage, ducting, and other groundwork activities
• Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
• Working closely with the site team to ensure work is completed safely and to programme
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket
• Previous experience operating a 360 excavator on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Substation experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong awareness of health and safety on site
• Reliable, hard-working, and able to work as part of a team
