Job summary

HARBRON RECRUIT LTD is seeking a 360 Excavator Operator for a busy new build housing site in Truro, Cornwall. The role is for 1 week of holiday cover with immediate start, operating a 9-tonne excavator and performing general machine duties across the development.

You must hold a valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo and have previous experience on housing or construction sites. Full PPE is required, and you should be reliable and available for the full week.

Location: Truro, Cornwall

Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediate Start

Duration: 1 Week – Holiday Cover

Site: New Build Housing Development

We are looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join a busy new build housing site in Truro for 1 week of holiday cover. The role will involve operating a 9-tonne 360 excavator and carrying out general machine operations across the housing development.

Duties

• Operating a 9-tonne 360 excavator safely and efficiently
• Excavating and moving earth and materials
• Digging foundations, trenches and drainage
• Assisting groundworkers with general site operations
• Moving and levelling materials around site
• Working safely around other machinery and site personnel
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Keeping the machine and surrounding work area clean and safe

Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo
• Previous experience operating a 360 excavator on housing or construction sites
• Confident and competent operating a 9-tonne machine
• Full PPE required
• Reliable and available for the full week of work
• A separate CSCS card cannot be accepted for this role. Your CPCS or NPORS card must have the CSCS logo.
