Job summary

A construction recruitment agency is seeking skilled plant operators in Banstead. You'll operate excavators and dumpers for garden preparation on a residential project. Responsibilities include clearing stones, placing topsoil, and grading levels. Candidates must have a valid CPCS or NPORS card and experience with machines under 10T. This is a temporary position starting on August 18, 2023, and ending in mid-September 2025.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card for Excavator and/or Dumper.
• Experience operating machines under 10T (5–8T).
• Ability to carry out basic site maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail for grading and leveling works.

Responsibilities

• Clear surface stone and debris using riddle bucket and rake.
• Place topsoil across garden areas (30–100mm depth).
• Grade levels ready for turfing.

Job description

Madisons Recruitment are looking for two skilled plant operators to join our project team in Banstead. You will be operating excavators (5–8T) and dumpers to assist with garden preparation works. Candidates who can competently operate both machines will be highly preferred.

You will be joining a team on site contributing to the build of a Residential project.

Responsibilities

• Clear surface stone and debris using riddle bucket and rake
• Place topsoil across garden areas (30–100mm depth)
• Grade levels ready for turfing
