Job summary

Got People are actively seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the Driving/Industrial Division in Watford. You will manage a busy desk, win new business, and build strong relationships with clients and drivers to deliver reliable staffing solutions.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on service quality, candidate care and meeting tight deadlines while developing existing accounts and generating new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Driving, Logistics or Industrial recruitment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good negotiation and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support/develop new business across driving, transport and logistics sectors.
• Identify and approach clients through calls, networking, meetings and site visits.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and become a trusted recruitment partner.
• Understand clients' operations, shift patterns, peak periods and recruitment requirements.
• Source, attract and register candidates.
• Interview and assess candidates for assignments.
• Maintain regular contact with drivers regarding availability and work upcoming.
• Match candidates to clients and assignments.
