Job summary

Charles Trent Ltd. is seeking a hands-on crane operator to support our site operations. You will confidently use 360-degree cranes and bailers, perform lifting and loading, and carry out equipment checks to keep machinery in top condition.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS ticket for 360-degree operation.
• 4+ years of proven experience operating cranes, excavators or similar heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
• A reliable, safety-focused attitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support wider site operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate 360-degree cranes and bailers safely and efficiently as part of daily site activities.
• Carry out lifting, loading, and unloading operations to keep materials moving smoothly.
• Work closely with site teams to support yard operations and contribute to overall site performance.
• Complete pre-use machinery checks, keep equipment in good working order, and report any defects promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times, maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
