Owen Daniels is expanding its Birmingham team to recruit a Contract Recruitment Consultant for a full 360 desk in Engineering and Manufacturing. You’ll own the lifecycle from winning new business to contractor placement, with clear earning potential and a progression path to senior and managing consultant levels.

You’ll operate on a hybrid model with a strong back-office and compliance support, targeting UK clients across engineering sectors while building lasting client relationships and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contract or temporary recruitment.
• Track record of winning new business and building client relationships.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing or wider STEM recruitment.
• Strong candidate sourcing and account management skills.
• Working understanding of IR35 and AWR; compliance support available.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across target sectors and accounts; win vacancies.
• Manage client relationships; conduct client visits and job-spec calls.
• Source, screen and assess candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards.
• Handle the full contract lifecycle with in-house compliance support.
• Maintain and grow a book of active contractors on your desk.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding and pay/margin calculations.
• Log activity in Bullhorn; work towards KPIs and billing targets.
