The Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) Engineering Planner Advisor plays a vital role in the operation of flood risk pumping stations, water control structures, and broader business functions. You will help prioritize, plan, and deliver maintenance or replacements of critical assets, supporting flood protection amid global climate change challenges.

This role involves providing technical leadership to ensure data quality and advising on compliance with technical, safety, legal, environmental, and operational standards across diverse assets and geographic areas.

You will supply technical data to ensure staff adhere to statutory legislation, British and European standards, and Environment Agency policies.

The Supra-Area MEICA team is a specialized, multi-skilled group covering Yorkshire and North East Operational Areas. You will report to the MEICA Team Leader, acting as a technical leader and liaising with Business Partners.
