Over the past five years, our Youth Service has been a valued and integral part of a restorative Children’s Services approach. With strong investment and support, we’ve grown into an evidence-based service that consistently demonstrates the positive impact we have on young people. At the heart of everything we do are the voices, needs, and aspirations of young people.
Our team is made up of JNC-qualified youth workers who deliver a wide range of services, including one-to-one support, group work, youth clubs, and detached youth work. We operate from six dedicated youth work bases across the county.
We’re looking for
JNC degree-qualified youth workers who are passionate about their practice and eager to take on new challenges. You should have experience working with young people in diverse settings and be confident collaborating with others in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The role includes working two evenings per week, occasional weekends, and offers flexible working hours.
Not JNC qualified yet?
We’re also open to recruiting
trainee youth workers. This would involve enrolling in a two-year, part-time postgraduate qualification and working alongside. Please note: applicants for the trainee role must already hold an undergraduate degree.
