Tier 1 Bank seeking multiple Payments Business Analysts to assist on extensive payments risk program.

Your new company

Hays has partnered with a Tier 1 bank to appoint 3 x Senior Payments Business Analysts to a large program of work centred around mitigating payment risk. Working alongside a tight-knit and high-performing team, if you're an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in payments and payment risk and controls, then these could be the roles for you.

Duration: Initial term to 30/05/2026

Working Arrangements: Hybrid (3 days in-office in London)

Rate: Up to £750/day inside IR35 via Umbrella

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

• Work with Solution Leads, and partner with the operations and technology teams, to articulate and execute the strategy and implementation approach for strategic payment control solutions, as well as exposing dependencies, escalating issues, assessing status, and bringing reporting transparencies to the broader organisation.
• Ensure all process and technology implementations for the controls meet the intended outcomes: safe, efficient, client-centred, functionally complete, and extensible design to accommodate future changes
• You'll possess domain expertise across Operations and Technology functions within a large bank, with complex implementation and transformation program expertise.
• You'll bring with you strong payments expertise, including an exceptional understanding of payment flows, types, and messaging. You'll also have extensive knowledge of markets, SSO, TTS, and lending products from transaction booking to payments.
• Previous experience in a Tier 1 bank will be preferred.
