Job summary

You will own hiring, development, and performance, aligning with cost standards and KPI metrics while partnering with Planning and Quality to optimize site performance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in manufacturing with 3+ years in management or supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Engineering or equivalent.
• Lean/Six Sigma expertise with a track record of continuous improvement.
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, variances and cost control.
• Leadership to standardize processes across shifts and drive cross‑dept collaboration.
• Ability to interpret complex data and drive system adoption in ERP/MES.

Responsibilities

• Lead Preston site with 3‑shift system and standardization across operations.
• Develop bench strength by coaching supervisors and team leads on shop floor leadership.
• Own hiring, development, and performance reviews with KPI alignment.
• Champion Lean, Quality, and EHS initiatives and drive zero‑incident culture.
• Monitor budgets, machine cycle times, variances, and report KPIs to senior management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Planning on cross‑functional initiatives.
