3-Month Contract Opportunity (MSc Graduate)

Location: London

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated MSc graduate to join our team as a RA on a 3-month contract. You will support experimental research activities within our Functional Genomics team, assisting in the development of high-throughput screening assays and validating machine learning–derived biological hypotheses.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an innovative biotech setting, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to cutting-edge translational science.

What You'll Do

Support the development and execution of cell-based assays for target validation.
Assist in CRISPR-based gene perturbation experiments (training provided).
Work with automation tools and liquid handling systems to generate high-quality screening data.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, and support lab operations.
Collaborate closely with scientists from both experimental and computational backgrounds.

What We’re Looking For

MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
A basic understanding of gene editing (e.g., CRISPR), cell culture, and/or functional assays.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new techniques.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
