Overview

This wonderful family with two children aged nearly 1 and 3 years old is looking for a happy, energetic and fun Nanny to start in early December. This is a full-time daily position for 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, supporting both parents whilst they work.

Children and daily routine

The nearly 3-year-old boy is bright and active, enjoying outdoor exploration, imaginary games, dressing up, role-play, arts and crafts, baking, and local classes like Tappy Toes. The nearly 1-year-old girl is happy and content with a good routine, loves her food, and enjoys singing, dancing, stories, and play inside and out, with calm time and lots of cuddles. Both children adore engaging, educational activities and outings.

The family live near green space and parks, and a driver is needed for outings with the children. You may use your own car or the family car.

Responsibilities

• Nursery duties including keeping the children’s areas tidy and preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children throughout the day.
• Support both children’s routines from morning start to bath time in the evening.
• Prioritise the children in daily activities; the family also employs a cleaner.

Job specifics

• Location: Kilnwood Vale between Horsham and Crawley, West Sussex.
• Days and hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays; 7am to 7pm.
• Driving required: Yes, either with own car (petrol reimbursed at 45p per mile) or a family car is available on duty.
• Start date: Tuesday 2 December 2025.
• Gross pay: £540 per week (approx. £31K per annum).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years nanny experience with pre-school children.
