Our client

A prominent full-service law firm is seeking a driven Infrastructure Finance Associate to join their Infrastructure Finance team in London.

Position Overview

You will play a crucial role in the Infrastructure Finance team, working on a variety of financing documents and supervising junior team members. The successful candidate will collaborate with other practice areas within the firm, particularly the Infrastructure M&A team, and contribute to the growth of the practice through business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various financing documents, including term sheets, facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates, trainees, and paralegals, ensuring high-quality work
  • Collaborate with other practice areas, building strong relationships with associates in the Infrastructure M&A team
  • Instruct and coordinate local counsel on cross-border transactions
  • Contribute to business development activities to grow the Infrastructure Finance practice
  • Manage matters with a disciplined approach, adhering to firm processes and providing regular updates to the Matter Partner

Requirements

  • 3-6 PQE Qualified Solicitor in UK/Common Law jurisdiction
  • Outstanding academic record
  • Experience working in an Infrastructure Finance, Project Finance, or Leveraged Finance team
  • Strong drafting skills and commercial astuteness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Inquisitive personality with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Resourcefulness and excellent time management skills
