We are seeking van drivers to join our dynamic team at Driver Hire (Torbay), servicing a broad range of clients across Newton Abbot and South Devon. This role is ideal for individuals seeking either flexible, ad-hoc assignments or stable, long-term employment involving the operation of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

This is not delivering parcels.

• Offering competitive wages from£13.68 – £17.78 per hour PAYE ADV, with higher pay rates on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the punctual transport and delivery of goods.
• Work shifts typically start between 04:00 and 09:00 until all deliveries are completed.
• Comply with traffic and road safety regulations at all times.
• Keep in regular contact with the transport team regarding schedules and updates.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Category B driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (DR, DD, IN).
• Prior experience in multi-drop delivery roles is appreciated but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to handle manual tasks and vehicle operations.
• Weekly payment system with options including PAYE ADV.
• Reduced prices on CPC training for drivers aiming for a 7.5T license.
• Flexible work schedules to support part-time or full-time engagements.
