Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Hemington, United Kingdom, is seeking an immediate start 3.5 tonne van driver for home and business deliveries. You will work in a two-person team, loading, navigating, and delivering flat-packed furniture with care.

The role is temporary with an hourly rate of £13.50 and up to 28 days annual leave. Start times around 05:00–06:00 and long days up to 10–12 hours; UK applicants only and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering to homes and businesses.
• 3.5 tonne driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Category B licence and 2 years commercial driving.

Immediate work available!
We are currently recruiting van drivers to deliver flat-packed furniture to customers’ homes and businesses. Working as part of a two-person team, you’ll be accompanied by a driver’s mate who will assist with navigation, lifting, and customer interactions.

Your day will involve loading the van with flat-packed items, delivering them safely to set locations, and ensuring all goods are handled with care. You’ll be expected to follow a pre-planned route, provide excellent customer service at every stop, and assist with offloading where needed.

This is a physically active role, so candidates should be comfortable with manual handling and have a good level of fitness. Experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required.

Hourly Rate: The wage for this position will be £13.50 per hour and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorship.

Working Hours: Your working hours will include a start time of between 0500/0600 whilst working an average of 10 /12 hours a day.

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants must have worked recently as a 3.5 tonne driver commercially and been involved in making home deliveries. We cannot accept applicants with more than 6 penalty points, CD/DD/DR/IN conviction codes need not apply. An up-to-date driving licence with category B and 2years commercial driving experience.
