Job description

Due to business growth, our client, a removals company based in London, is looking to recruit an experienced 3.5t Removals Driver / Porter to join their busy team.

As a 3.5t Removals Driver / Porter, your typical day includes driving to and from the warehouse to customers' addresses, working with a team to pack, unpack, load, and unload, and undertaking the safe handling of customers' goods. You will aim to exceed customer expectations by understanding their needs, planning with excellence, and delivering with care.

• Responsibilities include:
• Introducing yourself to the customer as the main point of contact.
• Keeping the customer informed and ensuring all their requirements are met.
• Driving company vehicles, ensuring they are roadworthy, clean, and fueled, and that vehicles are legally parked.
• Working as part of a team to handle customer goods safely.
• Maintaining politeness and professionalism at all times.
• Adhering to company policies on driver and vehicle safety.

Having a full UK driving licence and physical strength is essential for this role.

We are keen to speak with removals professionals experienced in driving 3.5-tonne vehicles, with customer care, packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time permanent position, averaging 44 hours per week over 6 days, with 2 Saturdays off per month.

The salary offered is from £30,000, depending on experience and skills.
