Job summary

White Trading Limited is seeking a Multi-Drop Van Driver (3.5 Tonne) in Waltham Abbey. The role offers a salary of £33,800 per annum plus a performance bonus, with Monday to Friday shifts and 50 guaranteed hours per week.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence and at least 6 months’ experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle, ideally with Luton van experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months commercial 3.5-tonne driving experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements.
• Good knowledge of London and surrounding motorway network.
• Willingness to carry out manual handling as part of the role.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Completing between 10 and 30 scheduled deliveries per day to retailers and merchants.
• Driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle safely and professionally.
• Loading your own vehicle before departure.
• Loading and unloading products, including regular manual handling.
• Obtaining proof of delivery using photographs and relevant paperwork.
• Carrying out daily pre- and post-vehicle safety checks.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of your vehicle.
• Refuelling vehicles when required.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or accidents.
• Assisting with unloading vehicles at the end of your shift.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
