Job summary

JobsTrackR in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a 3.5T Driver / FLT Counterbalance Driver / Labourer. The role combines driving up to 3.5 tonnes, forklift operation and general labouring in a busy engineering/manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will hold a full UK licence for up to 3.5t, a valid Counterbalance FLT licence, and prior experience in similar roles. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, £13.38 per hour.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with entitlement to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate is required.
• Previous experience driving a 3.5T vehicle and operating a counterbalance forklift.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Carry out deliveries and collections as required.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and securely.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials and equipment.
• Load and unload deliveries using the FLT.
• Move raw materials, components and finished products around site.
• Assist production and workshop teams as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy; follow safety procedures.
• Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Undertake other duties to support engineering operation.
