Job summary

Charles Saunders in the Southwest is seeking a 3.5T Delivery Driver to join our team in Bristol. You will deliver food and catering products safely, manage daily vehicle checks, and keep chiller temperatures within required limits.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence, a strong customer-service approach, and reliable cash handling. You will work Tue-Sat with a Monday rota, around 42.5 hours per week, with a monthly performance bonus after probation.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely and minimise wear and tear.

Location: Bristol

Pay: £27,851.00 Per Annum (£100 per month performance bonus, after probation period.)

Hours:Tuesday - Saturday, Rota Mondays. (42.5 Hours P/W)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and catering products to customers in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Complete daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects to the Transport Management Team.
• Bulk pick items from the vehicle and deliver goods to the customer’s chosen location.
• Record chiller and freezer temperatures and ensure they remain within required limits, reporting any issues promptly.
• Operate the vehicle safely and responsibly, minimising wear and tear.

About You:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong driving ability across a range of conditions, with sound knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
