Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a delivery driver to join our local delivery team in the UK. You will drive the local routes, build relationships with regular customers and ensure deliveries are on time with a high level of service.

This 7-day operation may include weekend shifts; you will load stock at the branch, deliver to customer premises and complete the necessary paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

• Cat B licence required.
• Delivery driving experience preferred (at least 2 years).
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch.
• Deliver to customer premises and unload.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
