Booker Group is seeking delivery drivers to join the local driving team. This role involves 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 pattern, with some weekend work, loading at the branch and delivering to customers.

Cat B / 3.5T licence and at least two years of driving experience are required; delivery driving experience is preferred. Strong customer service and accurate paperwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence.
• At least two years’ driving experience.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. Working 45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an “Any 5 from 7” contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
