3.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVERS WANTED

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 3.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Bristol.

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries and route plans are put together for your daily, along with you vehicle been loaded with the products.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Installing a range of various products for our customers
• Making every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love driving and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.
• Following a delivery route
• Pre calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:

• Experience within a similar role (preferred)
• No more than six penalty points on driving licence
• A passion for delivering great customer service
• The ability to handle heavy goods
• A clean DBS

The hours of work for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, from Monday to Sunday, 7.00am - 6.15pm.

The salary for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.17 per hour / £30,817 per annum depending on the hours worked
