Job summary

Interaction Engineering is seeking an experienced 3-5 tonne excavator operator to join a construction and groundwork project in the UK. The successful candidate will operate mini excavators safely, with a valid CPCS or NPORS qualification, and work on site to support digging, trenching, levelling and other groundwork tasks.

This ongoing CIS contract offers regular work, the chance to join a reliable team, and support from the Interaction Recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS excavator operator qualification.
• Proven experience operating 3-5 tonne excavators.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 3-5 tonne excavators on site.
• Carry out digging, trenching, levelling and general groundwork duties.
• Work alongside groundworkers and other site operatives to meet project deadlines.
• Follow site drawings and instructions where required.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any defects.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
