Harmony at Home Limited is seeking an experienced part-time housekeeper with potential nanny duties to support a busy family in Brampton. You will work 24 hours across three days (9-5) with flexibility for a Friday and occasional Saturdays, and may assist with childcare when required.
Responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry, basic cooking, and running efficient household systems. Driving is required to access multiple locations and you would join a warm family environment.
A super part-time opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Housekeeper to join a professional and busy family known to Harmony at Home. The family have two lovely baby daughters – 15months and 7 weeks old so if you have nannying experience too this would be considered a bonus!
You will be working 3 days per week from 9-5pm/ 24hours per week. One of these days should be a Friday but the other two days can be flexible. There is also the opportunity to work a Saturday (or just a morning) if you would like. The family also apply a full time nanny so for some of the days you may be working alongside her too.
Your main duties will include taking a proactive and detail-oriented approach to household organisation, establishing and maintaining practical systems to ensure all areas of the home remain tidy, orderly, and clutter-free. Mopping the floors, hoovering and changing the beds as well as ensuring laundry has been done. Some cooking may also be required too – the family like to eat healthy nutritious meals so ingredients and recipes can be provided. You will enjoy keeping the home to a good standard and be a proactive self starter.
Mum will be at home but if you are happy to provide some nanny duties too that would be appreciated – caring for the girls if mum pops out, helping prepare bottles and help with nappy changes etc.
The family would love to find someone who will stay with them on a long-term basis and become part of their family as the children grow. Someone who is reliable and trustworthy is a must.
If you are just as happy running a home as caring for children, this could be the ideal role for you.
Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, you will only be contacted for shortlisting and interview if you meet our client’s suitability requirement’s.
For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. We also recommend that you have appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance). Whilst we usually undertake all registration interviews and right to work checks in person face to face, we will in certain circumstances consider video call registrations and digital right to work checks via a certified digital identity service provider (IDSP).
