Job description

Job Opportunity: 2x CSCS Joiners

Location: Kendal

Duration: 1 Week

Rate: £24 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking 2 CSCS Joiners to start tomorrow for 1 week of work in Kendal.

Responsibilities:
  1. Final fix joinery - Installing doors, skirting boards, architraves, and other detailed woodwork to complete interior finishes.
  2. Fitting IPS (Integrated Plumbing System) panels - Measuring, cutting, and securing pre-fabricated panels in washrooms and sanitary areas.
  3. Installing kitchen units and worktops - Ensuring precise fitting and alignment.
  4. Assembling and fitting partition walls - Using timber or metal stud frames to create room divisions.
  5. Repairing and replacing damaged woodwork - Fixing or upgrading fixtures like door frames and window sills.
  6. Reading and interpreting technical drawings - Following project specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  7. Operating hand and power tools - Using saws, drills, and other tools to complete joinery tasks.
  8. Ensuring high-quality finishes - Sanding, sealing, and making adjustments for a professional result.
  9. Working to health and safety standards - Wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
  10. Collaborating with other trades - Coordinating with plumbers, electricians, and labourers to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements:
  1. Driving License
  2. Valid CSCS
  3. Own Tools and PPE
  4. Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
