The Agile Category & Sourcing Specialist will be a highly organized, strategic, and communicative individual, supporting the cost team. This role involves leading complex procurement initiatives across the bank, with expertise in process design, demand optimization, sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end procurement activities from initiation to close-out.
- Driving cost transformation activities, including reporting and system improvements to create value.
- Developing sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Partnering with suppliers to deliver value enhancement programs.
- Ensuring due diligence, onboarding, and risk assessments comply with regulations.
- Negotiating supplier contracts with a focus on cyber security, data privacy, SLAs, and exit strategies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Analyzing spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to inform decisions.
- Monitoring performance metrics using tools like Ariba, Cost Plan, and Planview.
- Presenting updates and business cases to senior stakeholders.
- Driving tangible and intangible cost and business benefits.
- Coaching teams through sourcing processes and enabling market readiness.
- Supporting financial planning, forecasting, and risk management.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks.
