Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Technician in Concord, NC. The role focuses on leading advanced dimensional inspection using tactile CMMs and optical systems, developing inspection programs, and mentoring junior technicians.

You will interpret GD&T on aerospace/automotive drawings, drive inspection strategy improvements, and contribute to continuous metrology initiatives in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in metrology and GD&T.
• Experience with tactile CMMs and optical systems.
• Ability to develop and optimize inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute inspections using CMMs and optical systems.
• Develop and validate inspection programs from CAD drawings.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with QA to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and FIA regulations.
