Stark Carpet/Prestige Mills in Calhoun is seeking reliable warehouse employees for 1st shift (7:30 am - 4:00 pm) and 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm).

Responsibilities include attaching binding to carpet and moving carpets to the next phase of production.

Job duties may include:

1. Inspect carpet before and after sewing.
2. Hand sew binding to carpet.
3. Hand sew carpets together.
4. Hand sew serging yarn to edges of carpet.
5. Move carpets to the next workstation.
6. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
7. Attendance is an essential job function.

Required Physical Abilities:

Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking. The position requires effective communication using speech, vision, and hearing. Must use hands for grasping and fine manipulations. May require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Incumbent will often be around moving machinery and in environments with temperature and humidity changes.
