Role Overview

As a 2nd Line IT Technician, you will be providing remote and onsite IT support to our customers across the southwest. Project work will play a large part of the role so this position would suit someone who is keen to learn new technology and has a methodical approach. You will work with clients at all levels of seniority so ensuring high-quality customer service and translating technical terms for non-technical individuals will be important. This role offers a dynamic work environment with no two days being the same.

Key Responsibilities

·Providing 2nd line technical support to our contracted and pay as you go clients

·Taking projects from concept through to completion and supporting these solutions going forwards

·Troubleshooting hardware failures

·Participating in the weekend on call rota

Qualifications and Experience

·Minimum of 3 years working in a technical support role

·Microsoft 365 administration including Intune device management

·Microsoft Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPOs, Entra Sync)

·Windows 10/11 support

·Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VLANs, WiFi, VPN)

·Experience creating Intune Configuration Profiles/Conditional Access Policies/App Protection Policies would be advantageous but not essential

·Knowledge of phone systems, particularly 3CX would be of benefit

·Full UK driving license
