Job summary

Flotek Group, a fast-growing UK tech company, seeks an enthusiastic ICT/2nd line support specialist to diagnose and repair services at partner sites, with on-site visits and remote assistance. You will work weekends on a rota-based on-call service.

You will handle hardware, software, and network issues, maintain documentation, and ensure SLA targets. A full UK driving licence is required, and sponsorship or relocation is not available.

Qualifications

• Have an ICT background with 2nd Line experience.
• Practical knowledge of being on site to support partners.
• Solid experience in customer service (excellent verbal and written communication skills required).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Attend partner sites to diagnose and repair services where applicable.
• Perform routine maintenance on hardware, software, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across desktops, servers, and networking equipment.
• Provide technical support to users, assisting with hardware and software-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT assets, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.
• Answer inbound calls from partners requiring technical help and troubleshoot remotely by phone and email.
• Investigate and monitor related IT issues to resolve faults and incidents within SLAs.
