As a 2nd line IT Support Engineer, you'll be based in Lancaster for an MSP that has recently secured new contracts and needs to grow its technical team.
This MSP prefers a Microsoft-biased engineer who is looking to advance their career. The role involves approximately 50% ticket work and 50% project work. It is a dynamic environment requiring someone proactive and willing to assist the team wherever needed.
The service desk manager encourages team development and is committed to continuous upskilling and promotion opportunities. The company boasts a career progression story where an apprentice advanced to operations manager.
You will join a close-knit team of 12 engineers, including 2 technical managers, working across 1st to 3rd line support. The role is based in a busy office environment, requiring customer focus and expectation management.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on 2nd line experience within an MSP, ready to contribute immediately. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
