We’re working with a fast-growing, modern IT Services provider supporting a broad range of customers across multiple sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly skilled, supportive technical team where no two days are the same.

You’ll work both from the company’s Manchester HQ and onsite with customers, delivering end-to-end IT support and consultancy services. This varied role offers significant exposure to cloud, networking, virtualisation, and industry-specific technologies.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a wide range of IT infrastructure including servers, SANs, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, NAS, desktops, and other critical systems.
  • Provide remote and onsite support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate service desk documentation.
  • Own support tasks and manage workload independently or within a team.

  • Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to the team’s technical skills.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Managed Services Service Desk or Field-based IT support.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft 365), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switching, firewalls), and virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, confident, and organized problem-solving and customer engagement approach.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • UK driving license and access to own vehicle.

Key Stakeholders:

Collaborate with internal teams (technical, leadership, project management) and external customers, vendors, and partners.

  • 37.5 hours per week (plus additional hours as needed)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Private medical cover
  • Sociable, collaborative environment
  • Regular team socials and weekly catch-ups
