BT Group is seeking a skilled network engineer to provide technical service delivery using Data Services technologies across connected networks. The role requires hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, Cisco and Cisco Meraki solutions, and CCNA certification, with a track record of delivering incidents and changes to resolution.
Applicants should be prepared for shift patterns to cover late shifts and weekends. Security clearance (SC, BPSS & NPPV 3) eligibility is required, with a minimum UK work

Note: There is a requirement to work a shift team pattern to cover customer deliveries (after training). Whilst the role is largely undertaken during the normal working business day there is a requirement to cover late shifts and Saturday working to meet customer and business demands.
This role provides technical service delivery to our customers through the use of Data Services technologies. By using market leading products and applying BTs process, quality and intellectual property, we provide our customers with services to facilitate their objectives through the power of communication. The role requires a skilled technical engineer who is an innovative, engaging, driven individual and has a proven record of achievement.
Please note you must either hold or be eligible for SC (Security Clearance), BPSS & NPPV 3 Clearance for this role, which will require a minimum of 5 years working history in the UK to be eligible.
Hands‑on experience delivering Data Services technologies, including LAN/WAN, Cisco and Cisco Meraki solutions, with proven ability to configure, commission and support Cisco routers and related network services.
CCNA certified (or equivalent networking qualification) with practical experience across routing, switching, VLANs, WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, BGP, HSRP, IP addressing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and PE/CE router configuration in a delivery environment.
Proven ability to take ownership of technical deliveries, incidents and changes through to resolution, supported by strong organisational, prioritisation, communication and problem‑solving skills while managing competing priorities and maintaining customer focus.
