The 2nd Assistant Manager is an entry-level, part-time management role that involves selling shoes to customers, managing, and leading the sales team when you are the manager on duty. This position is ideal for someone seeking career growth within a company that values promoting from within.

What you will do:

1. Greet customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
2. Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories.
3. Ring up sales, handle cash, and process credit card transactions.
4. Help restock the sales floor.
5. Maintain a neat and clean store environment.
6. Teach others how to perform the above tasks.
7. Lead the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
8. Make deposits at the bank.
9. Process freight and set up the sales floor as merchandise arrives.

What you need:

• Must be at least 18 years old, with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Interest in teaching others how to sell and learning to manage people.
• Willing to open/close the store, including times when you may be alone.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Capability to kneel, twist, bend, climb ladders, reach, stoop, and lift 25-50 pounds.
