A creative event agency in Bristol is looking for a midweight 2D Designer to create engaging visuals for high-profile events. This position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

About The Role... Are you a 2D designer with a strong conceptual portfolio? If you're looking to work on high-profile events that tackle complex briefs, deliver unforgettable messages, and make global headlines—this opportunity is made for you. We’re looking for a creatively minded 2D Designer to bring ideas to life across a wide range of live event projects - from early pitch visuals through to final production. You’ll be hands-on with a huge variety of formats and channels - spanning digital, print, and experiential - and we’ll be looking to you for ideas that feel fresh, considered, and full of purpose. As a midweight, you’ll report directly to the Design Director, working closely with our wider creative and event delivery teams to craft visuals that truly connect in a 3D live environment. This is a 2D design role, but you’ll also be collaborating regularly with our 3D team, creative artworkers, and project managers to help shape bold, cohesive event experiences. Experience in exhibitions or live events is a real plus - but if you’ve got the right mindset and a strong portfolio, we’re all ears.
You’ve got a sharp eye for layout, type, and the details that make design sing. Visual storytelling is second nature, and you know how to make an idea land across a range of formats - from print to digital and everything in between. You’re confident with Adobe Creative Suite - particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat - and you know how to use these tools to bring ideas to life with clarity and impact. You’re just as comfortable cracking on solo as you are working closely with others. You’ve got a calm, thoughtful way of communicating and a collaborative spirit that makes working with you easy. You ask the right questions, spot the details others might miss, and don’t wait around to be told what to do next. You’re curious, solutions-focused, and genuinely enjoy turning a good brief into great work. A graphic design degree or equivalent is useful, but not essential. What really matters is solid experience in a similar role, a strong portfolio that shows your thinking as well as your craft - and a clear understanding of what it means to be part of a busy, ideas-driven creative team. You’re comfortable contributing your perspective - and open to hearing others’ too. You’re also open to feedback and focused on making the work better, not just defending what’s already there. Like us, you take pride in the details, and satisfaction in a job well done.
