The NHS is seeking enthusiastic optometrists interested in joining the Orthoptic department at Barnsley Hospital. This role primarily involves paediatric assessments, including refraction and media checks, with opportunities for collaboration. We welcome enthusiastic and highly motivated optometrists with an interest in paediatrics to apply for the opportunity to be part of the Orthoptic department at Barnsley Hospital. The post would commence as soon as possible.
This essential role involves refraction, fundus & media checks on a predominantly paediatric caseload. You will work closely with Orthoptists and paediatric ophthalmologists.
The post is ideally to cover clinics on a Monday and Thursday, but the days could be negotiable.
