Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Colorectal/Stoma Care team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the team in ensuring that our service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care. As a centre of excellence, you will support the team to offer a person-centred approach to their independence and well-being.

Main duties of the job
  • Assist with the smooth running of the colorectal/stoma care nursing service.
  • Assist the team in providing a high standard of patient care.
  • Carry out clinical and non-clinical duties delegated by the Colorectal/stoma care Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • Demonstrate care and compassion when dealing with patients and their families.
  • Provide assistance and support to the clinical nurse specialist team.
  • Sustain and build on strong communication links with MDT and clinical teams.
