Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a part-time weekend domestic services assistant to support Hospital and Health Centre cleaning and related services across multiple sites in Dalkeith, with weekend hours Saturday 11:00–18:30 and Sunday 11:34–18:30. The post is pro-rata for part-time employment, and salary reflects weekend work and NHS standards.

The role requires PVG membership and adherence to quality, health & safety, and infection control requirements.

Role: Weekends, Saturday 1100am-1830pm – Sunday 1134am-1830pm

Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.
