Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a weekend, part-time Domestic Services Assistant to work Saturdays 11:00–18:30 and Sundays 11:34–18:30 in Bonnyrigg. The salary will be pro-rata for part-time hours.

You will provide a range of domestic services within Clinical and Non-Clinical Departments across hospitals and health centres, aligned with quality standards. Role emphasizes Health & Safety, infection control, and adherence to national cleaning specifications.

Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.
