An Integrated Care System in Barnsley is hiring a Registered Nurse for its dynamic Rightcare service. The successful candidate will provide clinical advice, assess patients, and collaborate with various healthcare services to improve care delivery. Rightcare Barnsley is a Single Point of Access, Transfer of Care Hub, and Clinical Advisory Service based in Barnsley. We work collaboratively with Barnsley Hospital, SWYT Community Services, Barnsley ICB, Local Authority, and Primary Care services.
Due to retirement, we need a Registered Nurse to join our well-established team of Nurses and Call Operators to support our work within Barnsley.
Our role includes preventing avoidable admissions and supporting early discharge out of the hospital. The RightCare services are a key element of Urgent and Emergency Care delivery. We are a highly regarded, dynamic team with an established reputation.
RightCare operates seven days a week, 12 hours a day, from 8 am to 8 pm.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to join our expanding service and be involved in its ongoing development.
As a Registered Nurse, you will work in the RightCare call centre based at Kendray Hospital. You will give clinical advice to referrers, assess and triage patients, and make onward referrals to the appropriate level of care. You will collaborate with Virtual Wards, Neighbourhood Nursing services, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Community Services, Adult Social Care, Care Homes, and Barnsley Hospital services such as SDEC and the Emergency Department. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in designing and delivering new initiatives from the outset.
