Job summary

Marlborough Primary School in Plymouth is seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will lead an adapted curriculum group for pupils with SEMH needs and support across the school.

The role includes delivering targeted interventions and providing PPA cover while fostering a nurturing, trauma-informed approach to behaviour and wellbeing. We welcome applicants with SEND experience and a passion for inclusive practice.

Job description

Post: One Higher Level Teaching Assistant (FTE)

Location: Marlborough Primary School, Morice Square, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4NJ

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade E Point15-20 £30,024-£32,597 pro rata

Actual £19,858 - £21,560

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, Term Time Only

About the Role

Marlborough Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our adapted curriculum group for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Other duties will also include leading PPA cover and delivering targeted support and interventions for groups of pupils across the school.
