Job description

Validation Scientist - (Job Ref: 25N/VSNM)

We require a highly motivated and dedicated individual to work within our busy Formulation Department as a Validation Scientist. Based in the Randox Science Park in Antrim, the Validation Scientist will be working in a purpose-built state of the art facility.

The Role:

  1. Review and planning of validation for proposed processes – new, developed or existing related to facilities, utilities, equipment and cleaning.
  2. Responsible for the statistical justification of sampling plans for validation projects.
  3. Data collection involving processes such as mixing, cleaning, dispensing, lyophilization, sterilization, capping, labelling and various other testing methods.
  4. Report writing to gather, evaluate and conclude a result.
  5. Co-operation with other departments to ensure all testing required by validation is performed as planned.

The Candidate:

Essential:

  1. Qualified to at least degree level, with at least a 2:1 in a life science discipline.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Good organizational skills.
  4. Good eye for detail.

Desirable:

  1. Previous experience with process validation.
  2. Previous experience with statistical sampling plans.
  3. Previous experience in Manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  4. Full UK driving license.
